This experience is for you! In our real Murano furnace you can experience the art of glass making, with an intense and private workshop, it takes around 45 minutes.
Description of the Murano glass making experience workshop:
- Intro about Murano glass information, historical introduction of venetian glass, information of glass materials and colors, tour of the furnace, basic principles of glass working and tools.
- Assist at our Glass Master demonstration of glass making, see our artists making a glass blowing vase and a glass figurine.
- Practical part, how to model a venetian chandelier glass flower with our help, choosing desired glass colors. Your creation can be picked up the day later or sent to your home when you are back.
- Performed by the glass Master, demonstration of how to make a glass flower, analyze the steps.
- How to manipulate the glass with a pipe rods Handle and use the glass tools, glassjaks and tweezers Student handcrafting the glass flower.
Available for 2, 3, 4 persons. This experience takes around 45 minutes (20 minutes of practice with hot glass), closed shoes and jeans trousers are mandatory.
For security reason kids under 14 years old can watch for free, but not manipulate the hot glass.
